in the beginning

Traunik actually began 20 years ago as a grad school project.  The actual script was never completed during the course, but the idea for it was planted into my mind.  Over the years I returned to it every now and then, but it wasn't until 2014 when my daughters came across the script on my computer and asked me about it that it really began to come to life.  I went back to working on it in earnest and absolutely fell in love with it!  I love the characters.  Each and every one of them is hysterical and mean something to me.  And, of course, I love the storyline.  So upon completion of the script I entered it into a national competition and took 7th place!!!  I knew I had something great.

Then in early 2015 I met John Gerds of Shooter Entertainment.  He was just as excited about my script as I was and I am so eternally grateful to have someone like him.  There has not been one day since we met that he hasn't contacted me about this project--that's been more than four months ago.  We now have companies wanting product placement, Lions Gate Entertainment talking about being the project distributor and several known actors who have expressed interest.  

We are currently in the investor stage, getting our financing.  This is going to be amazing!
