our story
The story of this company actually begins with a stopped heart. Our CEO, Lynne, technically died a long time ago. At 18 months old, she stopped breathing, but was resuscitated by some incredible people at Beaumont Hospital in Michigan. If we told you more of her story, you probably wouldn't believe it. The more we tell you, the stranger the truth will sound. The point? Miracles are all around us and that includes this company. It is comprised of educated, hard-working, talented people who are here to tell stories. Mind-blowing, heart wrenching stories. In 2015 Three Socks was formed after Lynne woke up on New Year's Day reflecting on miracles. She had earned her Ph.D. from Michigan State University, spoke at numerous academic and corporate functions, and published numerous research papers, plays, articles, poems, and stories. She held a 4.0 throughout her graduate studies even while holding a job and raising two children. Despite actually being "expelled" from her Ph.D. program for trying to alter the course of study (she ultimately had the chance to live out an item on her bucket list that involved bursting into a meeting, banging on a table, and insisting that this injustice be corrected), she completed her degree, and became an entrepreneur. Three Socks was born out of her desire to use many of the award-winning scripts she had sitting on her desk and to give a platform to the outstanding work of others. Drawing on her own work creating corporate videos and creating media projects on local and national levels, and assembling a team of people who have enjoyed very successful careers in film making, communications, and entertainment, and marketing, Lynne created this company. Now, we are involved in many types of media telling the stories that move you, make you laugh, make you cry, and make you want to aspire to more in life. Welcome to Three Socks!!
